Hey guys,

I've been trying to access the website for the company that hosts my personal website to do some site maintenance, but I haven't been able to for several days. For reference, the site is www.globat.com. At first I thought the site was just down for temporary maintenance, etc. but a few minutes ago I was able to connect just fine on my cell phone (haven't tried a different computer yet).

Here's what I've tried so far:

    1) Ping the website using "ping www.globat.com" (requests time out every time)
    2) Reset my router
    3) Restart my computer
    4) Update my IP Address using "ipconfig /release" and "ipconfig /renew"
    5) Flush my DNS using "ipconfig /flushdns"
    6) Tried several browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera)
    7) Cleared my cache in each of the browsers
    8) Attempted to connect to the site from my cell phone (this was successful)
    9) Attempted to connect to my website's FTP directory using my FTP application (this was also successful)
    10) I sent Globat support an email earlier today but I doubt I'll get a response until Monday.

This is completely bizarre--do you guys have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, it's an EIG company (not all of their brands are listed on their site)...

http://www.enduranceinternational.com/

That's the first problem. Now, let's try a couple things.
1. Run a Tracroute using tracert secure.globat.com (this is their account management portal it looks like)
2. What anti-virus are you running? Sometimes they have false positives.
3. Here's the direct login link to their client area. Does this not work?

Hey Shovenose2,

Thanks for the suggestions. I ran Traceroute and the results are pasted below--not terribly sure what all of it means so if you've got any clues let me know.

Traceroute results:

Trace complete.

The only antivirus I'm running currently is Windows Defender. I checked it's logs and it hasn't found anything or stopped anything in the recent past, so I don't think that's the culprit.

Finally, I'm unable to access https://secure.globat.com/secure/login.bml ...my browsers say webpage is unavailable.

Thanks again for your help!

Hey all--it's been about 10 days since the last post in this thread...just hoping a fresh pair of eyes might be able to help. The problem still isn't resolved and I haven't been able to make it any further in my tracert checks.

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!
