Car subwoofer setup

I have a Big Jawbone Jambox (portable bluetooth speaker) as a replacement to my car's stereo system. Is it possible to hook up an amplifier and subwoofer to my car and somehow connect it to my speaker as well? Could this be done by using AUX cords?

Couldtou please be more specific? Would it be possible to hook up my speaker to the amp? Therefore having the subwoofer and speaker sync together?
