Car Subwoofer setup

I have a Big Jawbone Jambox (portable bluetooth speaker) as a replacement to my car's stereo system. Is it possible to hook up an amplifier and subwoofer to my car and somehow connect it to my speaker as well? Could this be done by using AUX cords?

There is no output on the Jambox so you cannot connect it to an external amp or speaker without modifying it.
