Now BSOD and startup repair in infinite loop. Run chkdsk /f prompt me to choose from <Y/N> to force dismount the volume. Does <Y> format the Drive?
I’ve asked the cat what keys did he press but he doesn’t seem willing to cooperate so far.

Can you boot into safe mode and access system restore from there?

No I cannot go on safe mode, I’ve tried all the F8 options so far and all the chkdsk repair commands.

It’s annoying that cats know the deadly combination of keys without an apparent training in computer science.
