Cell phone booster with no cable connections

Our home is built in a valley. The general area we are in has cell phone reception but our valley is too deep to hold the signal. We have no cable internet connections available. I just left the Verizon store and they told me that the only booster they had worked off the cable internet connection. Are there other options out there?
