Change input of Vizio to hdmi1

I just bought a new universal remote that seems to have accepted the code I put. I can turn it on and off and change volume (no cable don't care for it) I'm trying to switch from tv to hdmi1 but when I get to the menu part it won't let me move to "input" it stays stuck on "picture" which I can't even select that. I'm just trying to play my Xbox1 please help

If the remote has more than one Vizio code try them all. Some universal remotes don't have all the functions of the original remote control.
Either get a replacement original remote or a Logitech Harmony remote. Their remotes have an enormous database of codes and are programmed online.
