My Samsung Galaxy S3 hasn't been charging properly. Sometimes on I will put it on the charger and it won't even charge. It will not change on any charger that isn't Samsung and it has been like this for awhile but note it's not even charging on the Samsung charger. I have to hold or place my phone at a certain angle (and that even changes) to find its sweet spot for it to charge. And just barely touching it can cause it to stop charging. I also have the issue where when I do get it charged as soon as I take it off the charger that within maybe 5 minutes it's gone from 100% to 75% or lower and that is without any apps running. I even got a new charger thinking that was the issue but the new Samsung charger doesn't fix the problem. I really don't have the money for a new phone, please help me out. How can I fix this? Do I need a new battery?
Yup, a new battery would most likely solve the issue of it dropping 25% in 5 minutes. As for the difficulty with the charging position, this could be a result of a loose charging port. This can be replaced by most phone repair shops for a small fee.
