Can you please suggest light gaming laptop Below $400? (I live at philippines so the price point will. be higher)
Laptop that can play light online game like Avatar Star: http://as.cherrycredits.com/download
And can run AutoCAD 2014 smoothly? 3d And rendering
No intense or heavy image and video editing
I prefer any Intel core (i3) 3rd or 4th gen with hyperthreading technology and 14 inch display
Thank you

Well. i really think intel. core i3 has HT. See here: http://ark.intel.com/search/advanced?HyperThreading=true

How about this laptop. http://www.olx.ph/index.php/view+classifieds/id/57847180/Best+Deal+BNEW+HP+Pavilion+Laptop+Core+i3++2Gb+500Gb+Nvidia+1GB?referralKeywords=laptop+nvidia&event=Search+Ranking,Position,1-1,1

Intel Core i3-3110M (2.4 GHz, 3 MB cache)
2GB DDR3
500GB
14" diagonal HD BrightView LED-backlit
NVIDIA GeForce 820M (1 GB DDR3 dedicated)
1 USB 3.0
- 2 USB 2.0
- 1 HDMI
- 1 VGA

Its 470 USD. Hmm im gonna change my price point to $470.... What other laptops do you suggest?
Also,. what AMD-cpu-based laptop can defeat/match intel cpu based l.aptop with almost the same price

No, only the i7 has hyper threading. It's pretty much the only thing that keeps it the best out of the line.

An i3 won't do well for gaming with its built in graphics, and with the price point you will be very hard pressed to get a dedicated GPU.

Any Asus or Lenovo will be a good buy for that price point.

I suggest you go window shopping in your area. You'll probably find better laptop deals and availability.

The vast majority of helpers on Toms only make product suggestions if its for the most frequently requested regions (US/Canada, UK/East Europe, Australia/NZ, India) because they have had a lot more experience looking for stuff from those regions.

We may suggest items from outside your country but the final expenditure will probably exceed your $400 limit after shipping, import duties and taxes. Not to mention buying from abroad practically make any warranty fubar.

edit: Core i3 processors do have Hyperthreadinig. It allows each core to run two smaller threads, but in productivity software you rather just have four physical cores if possible.
