I am wondering of good picture quality, but cheap digi camera. I just want one to take pictures of everyday life. Nothing special, so a good 50 dollar (or less) digi camera would be good.

Can someone tell me of a site and types of cameras are good? I would love as many answers and sites listings possible.

Thanks

You're not gonna find ANY digicam for $50 or less.

An excellent web site about digicams can be found here:

I would suggest you check out the soon to be released Nikon 775. You can get some info on it here:

Guess what, I had the same question, so after some research here's what I found:

http://www.pricewatch.com= go electronic/digital cameras/digital - they start at $19.95 and up.

the Intel pocket pc camera can be had at Best Buy this week for $59.95 ($109.95 - $50 mail in rebate) you can probably get this item for less on the web.

another intruiging camera is the Relisys 3500 for $37 with 2mb removeable flash memory, see http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=VDC-3500=

If any of you have any experience with these inexpensive little cameras lets hear it.

How does the saying go, you get what you pay for? I found a great deal on one of those cheap cameras a jamcam. I found this at a local store for about 2o bucks after rebates my daughter was begging for it so what the heck. After I got her a 16 mb multi media card it didnt need one but it takes 69 pics with one she was on her way. Bottom line is this good camera for an 11 yr old. Pics are ok for web shots and thumb nails blow em up and they get grainy quick. We have fun with it but are saving our money now for a real camera 3.3 if we can afford it. Ok to play around with but you won't want it as your only camera you might want a good picture

It's a good bet somebody, put him up there.
