Cheap, Easy to Use CAD program?

I'm looking for a cheap (ideally <$1000) CAD program to do simple models of showers, closets, etc. I also would like it to be simple to use, so that it won't take me months to learn it. Any suggestions?

Yeah, but after trying it it still costs $6k.

Try DoubleCAD XT, I haven't as yet used it myself, but CNET give it a good review, and its free to boot, then the PRO version is $700 if you want to upgrade.

Also, just remembered, if you're a student, ArchiCAD is free too and that is one of the leaders in CAD software.
