Hello, I am looking for a laptop that costs around or below $600. I will be mainly using this laptop to school, entertaining reasons, and Elsword Online(a download game I really addicted to.) The requirement to download this game is on the website. http://www.elswordonline.com/downloads/game/
Other than that, I want it to be fast and portable if possible. Btw I'll be going to high school next year, so I will be using Microsoft Office a lot.

Maybe this?.. Lenovo IdeaPad Y480

It's $749. little over what you wanted, but it would be well wort the money. Has a discrete graphics card rather than a onboard Intel graphics(which are horrible).

Some of the cheaper lenovo's would probably do you fine, but i think this would fit your needs and any other games you decide to play. Also Lenovo is offering a deal with Microsoft office, buy it now, get the upgrade to the next version of office for free

This is a really good laptop for the money. 6GB DDR3, 750GB HDD, quad core A10 (2.3GHz Base - 3.2Ghz turbo) with dual graphics (HD 7670m and 7660G). The GPU is a little better than the Nvidia GT 640m (so slightly slower in gaming than the above laptop). The CPU is fairly fast, but slower than the i7. In general it's a little slower than the above lenovo, but it only costs $600.

Is a much better deal for the same price.

a10- equivalent to i5 in multithread, about 30-40% slower in singlethread.

7670m is much worse than 650m. 7670m is about on par with the 640m LE.

Hybrid crossfire does not work well. Sometimes you will see about 30-40% increase, sometimes none, sometimes less than with the 7670m by itself (caused either by poor drivers or the fact that the igp uses the thremal headroom of the cpu, causing the cpu to throttle down and bottleneck cpu heavy games). There is also a lot of stuttering.

6GB means the memory is not running properly in dual channel mode and the igpu will have much poorer performance.

Lenovo y480 will beat it hands down.
