Hello! This question was asked lot of times, but.heres my situation. I won't.deny that I probably have too high expectations. Ive built my PC in 2015 with fx6300 8gigs of DDR3 1600mhz And GTX 660. It was great all rounder. But things have changed and I want to replace it for notebook. For selling my desktop I would get 270$ max and I want to use those money to buy a laptop. I don't play so much games.anymore but I would like.something.silar in performance(okay, little bit less powerful, I won't get a notebook the same performance.) But still don't want any bulky box, mostly because I will be carrying it around a lot. So the thing is I would like to get a great notebook for average user who wants to play maybe 2015 games solidly at least on medium details or something that will hold up for 3 more years. (Yes, broke student, whose parents won't pay anything..) well, I am bad at expressing my needs but I hope you understand me also I would prefer matte screen

best is to get on your used site (you know risk of buying used), and list us laptops avalilable under your max price.
Buying new is not soo good option as you get celeron without hdd...

Thanks! I have been looking for latitudes but I had no idea how they hold up. If nothing better comes up I'll go for them. Hopefully they will be sufficient for computer science school work

I recommend looking an laptop with dedicated gpu.
4GBs of ram is ehhh,uhh but try to find 8GB.

I think about buying 4Gb as cheap as.possible and then expanding it.

There are so many used systems around that it's very hard to find one since every day there are more being sold. Look around on eBay and Craigslist. Craigslist will probably be cheaper and you can actually see it running before you buy it.

For that price you will have a hard time finding anything with a decent video card for games that runs well.

If you want a reliable system without a gaming class video card, a Lenovo T440 or about there model should be in your price range and those systems don't break unless you really try to break it.
