So I've decided to buy a tablet to use for projects and writing, mostly light tasks of course. I'm willing to send no more the $250 on one. What might be a good option. HDMI and usb outlets are preferred along with one that can have a keyboard plugged in. There are so many options so I just want some ideas and feed back to help.

I would also go with a windows 8 tablet are you are using it for writing projects. This is much easier with a windows 8 tablet as you have microsoft office which will make it easier to integrate you work from the tablet to your pc assuming you have a windows 8 tablet. As for suggestions I'm not into the tablet market so I can't really make any suggestions.

I didn't say not a good choice, more a better choice with a Windows tablet for light productivity tasks and good compatibility. Imo
