Hello,
its the first time i am buying a gaming laptop and i dont know much about hardware.
i write down some choices i found but i dont know how to sort them by efficiency.
is 6700hq good enough for todays games?
is there any chance the gpu affect the efficiency of the cpu? or the other way
which are the best ones from these and why?

1.Alienware 17 R4 17.3" UHD i7-6700HQ 16GB 256GB SSD + 1TB GTX 1070 8GB
2.Alienware 17 R4 17.3" QHD i7-6700HQ 16GB 512GB SSD + 1TB GTX 1080 8GB

4.Alienware 17 R4 i7-6820HK 16GB 1TB +512GB PCIe SSD UHD GTX1070 8GB
5.Alienware 17 R4 i7-6820HK,16GB, 1TB, UHD , GTX 1070 8G
6.ALIENWARE 17 R4 i7-6820HK 32GB, 256 SSD M.2 PCIe 1TB UHD GTX 1070 8GB

I would go with #2 because it has the GTX 1080. You'll need it if you want to play games at UHD resolution; though SLI is recommended for that resolution. Personally, if there was a FHD option with the GTX 1080, then that is what I would choose.

The difference between HQ and HK CPUs is that HK CPUs can be overclocked. However, I generally do not recommend doing so because a laptop has very limited cooling and it is more important to have a more powerful GPU than an overclocked CPU for games.

you did not include any info about the screen type . screen type matters alot as well.

as for which is better? ofc the one with GTX 1080 this is what matters most for gaming performance among them.

screen type you mean these info?:
17.3 inch UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Anti-Glare 300-nits Display with Tobii Eye-Tracker
how screen type matters?
i read somewhare that 6700HQ and 1080 on a pc may cause some issues but cant recall specifically.

i used the site game-debate in order to test some of these specs on a new game and 6700hQ seems to not pass. thats why i asked for help :)

should i be worried about this red line? how will it affect the performance?
http://www.game-debate.com/hardware/index.php?pid=2379&cpu=Core%20i7-6700HQ%204-Core%202.6GHz

You confused the heck out of me. Are you talking the red line on the right side with the "AAA" above it? The red line is the level of recommended cpu to play newest games. The blue bar pushing up above the red line indicates the level of the i7-6700HQ, which is slightly past the red line, which is a good thing. So no, it is nothing to worry about.

i used this site game-debate and i put the specs. in results cpu seems to fail in new games. i cannot upload a screenshot to show it, sorry
sorry for confusing you

No need to be sorry. I'm just easily confused. :D

The i7-6700HQ will not bottleneck the GTX 1080. However, if you attempt to play games at UHD resolution, that can definitely lower performance compared to playing at 1080p resolution. You can always lower the resolution from UHD to 1080p. When using lower than max resolution graphics and text will look a litte less sharp though.

IPS is better than TN in both colors and viewing angles.

also check if the screen has Gsync enabled or not.

I would say If you want to pick one of those notebooks , then get the one with the GTX 1080 .

but again how much is your budget ? Acer , MSI and Asus have very good gaming laptops as well.

playing games ta uhd will lower performance because of the 6700HQ?
why choosing a better cpu and gtx 1070 is not beter than the 2nd option with the gtx 1080?

i choose Alienware because i think in Europe, Dell has the best tech support.in-home service.
when i asked about other brands tech support they told me that i have to send the laptop to another country with my expences and the repair would take 1-2 weeks.

specifically the 2nd option with the gtx 1080 is an open box deal around 1700 euros. The other options are refurbished that i found on ebay again around 1700-1800 euros
