chrome and firefox won't connect to sites

My interent is connected and everything works besides the browsers. After the sites don't load, the browser shows a no data received message. Once i click details, it says the server sent no data. I have already checked for viruses with malwarebytes and nothing came up. I have no idea what to do at this point. Any advice?

Sounds like a virus.

Can you boot into "Safe Mode with networking" and test? If you can access websites there, it's very likely a virus that's causing this (even if you can't, I'm still suspecting malware).
