clean install with new hard drive

clean install doesn't allow me to install windows 7 on my hp desktop h8 1214 it says no drivers are on the cd / windows 8 installs fine no problem, do anyone know why, all help is needed, thanks

well win 8 comes with more drivers for newer stuff than win 7 does...which is why win 7 sometimes asks for driver disks
get updated drives for win 7 for your pc, then when u have install problems again..and if it asks for drivers, use the ones u dl'd to the usb stick
note - extract them to the usb while keeping original zip files intact on whatever you dl'd them to. just in case your usb stick is flawed.

If you're installing from a thumb drive

When the installation is asking for drivers, unplug the usb drive then plug it on a different usb slot
