Hi,

I am going to do an acoustic gig in the summer and I want to play
samples. I would like to have the samples on one track and a click beat
on another but only the sample track going through the PA system but
the clickbeat going to my monitor. Does anyone have any ideas how I
could do this? Perhaps with a portastudio?

Cheers
Pete

Use any stereo playback device. One channel for samples, one for
click. Pr maybe one for samples, one for a mix of samples and click
- you want to hear the samples I imagine?

There's little point in running a gig PA in stereo. Only a few of
the audience will get any stereo effect - the rest will just hear an
imbalance.

You might find a simple drum track better than a click. It's easier
to work to, and it doesn't matter if the audience hear it as well.
