Cmos pasword removal for acer travelmate 5530

What is the BIOS password for the TravelMate 5530 Model#M52231? I spoke with our local computer shop and they said I had to request myself to Acer, on line. If anyone can help, would muchly appreciate.

Your local computer shop is right. You should contact Acer, probably with some kind of proof of ownership.

From our viewpoint, we have no way of knowing if you truly own the laptop and trying to bypass passwords violates our Terms of Service.
