Both Control keys on my keyboard stopped working the other day and have not returned to function correctly. I'm running Windows 7 on a Toshiba Satellite A665 S6086. Shift and Alt Keys still work.

Ideas? Thank you!

Make sure you haven't accidentally activated Stick keys or Filter keys assistive technologies in Windows.

To get into the Ease of Access settings in Windows 7, click Start, Control Panel, Ease of Access, Ease of Access Center.

In the Ease of Access settings, check to ensure nothing is turned on.

Thanks. Tried that. It didn't work. Device manager shows I have two keyboard drivers. Which should I delete?

1) HID Keyboard Device
2) Standard PS/2 Keyboard

Thank you

You can delete them both. If they are both present, Windows will just re-detect and add them back the next time it performs a hardware scan, such as when it boots, or if you press the Scan for hardware changes button in Device Manager.
