College laptop and light gaming

Hello, I've been looking for a laptop for college notes, programming, and light gaming (league of legends, overwatch, total war, endless legend ect.) I would like at least a decent battery life so I don't have to be plugged in while taking notes or something. I'm good with a 15" screen or bigger and would like it to be relatively light (under 6 pounds is probably reasonable) im trying to look under 1000$ canadian. I'm not the biggest fan of most Lenovo's I don't find them very nice to look at aside from their higher ends like legions and such. Other than that I think I got everything.
