Compaq Presario CQ60-615DX Ethernet network driver quit working after Windows 10 upgrade. Vista driver not work.

Client has Compaq CQ60-615DX laptop that upgraded to Windows 10. Got Wireless network working. Lost ethernet network and only driver on Compaq web site will not install - message saying driver for Vista only. Need Windows 10 Ethernet Driver for CQ60.

Please do try this driver which is for Windows 7 that may work with your laptop.

If this doesn't work try getting the Hardware id of the LAN card that's missing its driver.
- Open Device Manager, right click on the LAN card that needs the driver and select Properties.
- Once opened click on Details tab, under Property select Hardware id from the drop down list.
- The hardware id should look like this: PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_0260&SUBSYS_0260197B&REV_03
