Hey guys,
I've been looking for laptops for a little while and noticed US has some good deals, though Australia has a crappy market. There is a sale, which kind of brings prices in line.
The three laptops I'm comparing are as follows:
http/www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gigabyte-P57X-1070-701S-17-3-i7-7700HQ-16GB-256GB-1TB-GTX-1070-8GB-Win10-Laptop-/152398064129?hash=item237ba1ea01 - $2,400
http/www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gigabyte-P57W-1060-701S-17-3-i7-7700HQ-16GB-256GB-1TB-GTX-1060-6GB-Win10-Laptop-/162191971138?hash=item25c3651342 - $2,143
http/www.ebay.com.au/itm/Asus-GL702VM-17-3-i7-1TB-256GB-16GB-GTX-1060-6GB-Gaming-Laptop-Mouse-Pad-USB-AV-/332050501452?hash=item4d4fc08f4c - $2,080
The Asus laptop (last link) I believe is thinner, and although doesn't have the better CPU, is slightly cheaper and I've read good things about the speakers etc. Both 1060 laptops have 2133 ram where the 1070 has 2400 ram.
Beyond that, can you guys tell me what you think makes the most sense to get, value for money wise. Or even if you see some glaring issues or benefits i'm overlooking, like the thunderbolt port on the Asus.
Also, is anti-glare on a laptop screen needed, particularly inside, or does it look worse when inside.
Thank you guys!
