Further to a previous post I made on gaming laptops, I wanted to ask the community about the three laptops I'm currently considering.
The first is an Xplorer Xtreme X5 G-Sync, found here. It has an i5-4690k, a GTX970M 6GB card, 8GB DDR3 and a 15.6" 3840x2160 display. It comes in at £1,419.
The second is an MSI GT72 (found here), with an i7 4720HQ, a GTX980M 4GB card, 8GB DDR and a 17.3" 1920 x 1080 display. It is £1,379.
The third and final one is an XMG U705 (found here). It has an i7-4790k, a GTX970M 6GB card (with G-Sync), 8GB DDR3 and a 17.3" 1920x1080 display. It is £1,468.
Now, I'm still torn between 15 and 17", but I'm fairly flexible either way. I'd *like* the system to be good for gaming, but I wouldn't use a separate monitor so the graphics card will be running on whatever display the laptop has.
My budget is somewhere from £1,200 to £1,500, although the higher it is, the more I'd prefer the ability to spread the payments out (no interest though, but a buy now pay later scheme).
So, a few questions:
1. Which laptop above appears to be the best?
2, Can anyone recommend any other laptops in this price range (preferably with links to where it can be purchased, rather than just naming a brand, e.g. Alienware, Gigabyte).
Many thanks for any help.
