Compatability of SSD for Asus G752VT

I have the g752vt asus laptop and I want to install a secon ssd in the empty m.2 pcie slot. will the Samsung evo 970 or 960 work with my laptop? I dont understand the difference between the 970 and 960

Anyways, that ssd should work. Your mobo says it supports the M.2 2280 form factor, so I don't see why it wouldn't.
