Solved! Compatible GPU?

Hello! I have an Alienware17 bought in early 2014 and recently my dedicated gpu (Nvidia GTX 860m) as stopped working so i was looking to upgrade into a Nvidia gtx970m and i was wondering if there would be any compatibility problems , like software or wattage issues.
other specs. :
I7 4710MQ CPU 2.50GHz
8Gb Ram

It appears compatible, not sure why they are recommending a faster processor. 970M will consume 21 watts more of power, I recommend you go here:

Enter your service tag to see specs on power supply installed. (add processor+video+Hd's+misc watts) Another way to verify would be to compare upgrades that were available for this system when it was new.
