Question Computer not detecting headphones

recently upgraded gpus. when i started up my computer i started to hear some static noise after new gpu was put in. i opened my computer and checked to see if anything was unplugged or anything. i took out my gpu to see if my hd audio thing on my mother board was plugged in fully, it was so i put gpu back in adn started up my pc. when i turned it on there was no static noise but my headset wasent being detected at all, i also tried my rear audio jacks and that wasent working. i installed nvidia audio drivers with the gpu driver install, does that effect anything? i also tried to reinstall realtek audio drivers which also didnt do anything.
