Computer slowdown AFTER YouTube video ends.

I like to multitask while listening to YouTube videos, While videos are playing, everything runs just fine, for instance, I can play a game, or surf other pages without any kind of problem. The problem occurs ONLY AFTER the YouTube video ends in the background, my computer at this point becomes very "choppy" when typing or playing a game. Once I close the ended YOUTUBE video page, things return to normal..... Any suggestions? Thanks Ed.

2) Update browser
3) Uninstall and reinstall browser)
4) Use Googlechrome or Firefox portable located at this site : http/portableapps.com/
