hi every one i have a compaq laptop im running xp and the other night i was on face book a face book friend asked me to like there page so i did ever since then my laptop boots up but then a minuit later the screen goes blank bu it runs fine in safe mode could any one please help

It works in safe mode then it is driver issue. If you have the restore points you can try to restore to the point prior fb incident. You can also go to manufacturer's website and download the latest drivers for you computer model.

First backup you data before you do anything.
