Connect a CD player to an old Sony mini component system with broken CD player

Old Sony mini component system with CD player broken.... currently connected to a vcr, tv, cable box, and DVD player...need to connect a new 3 disc CD player

If your have run out of audio inputs then you can expand one of them with an audio or av input selector.
It might be possible to open the Sony and find the output of the original CD player and bring that outside but you would need a some skills to do that.

thank you so much for responding so quickly! I actually was able to run old school red and white cables to the MD in jacks on the back of the sony system...simply switch function to MD and voila! I have CD sound! It actually helps to read the original manual VERY carefully (this little tidbit of info was hiding there in very small print)...anyway, thanks again!
