rca is av cables right? so I just need to hook up both of them with the av cables correct?

But does the bluray and TV have HDMI?

Because if you use RCA cables it may cut the HDMI. I dont know

The TV would have to have audio out (not in) to plug it in this stereo

Well you could try HDMI from the bluray into the TV and plug its RCA into the stereo. But the stereo has (probably) only so many RCA audio inputs on it
