Connect to internet without cable on smart TV

I do not have cable but use internet and have a smart TV (Vizio) connected to modem/wifi with an ethernet cable. I still cannot access Netflix.... What am I missing?

You mean the vizio smart tv don't have netflix app? then you need to get an android box
