Connecting as external speakers for laptop

Is it possible to connect the Apple Klipsch iPod sound system to a laptop (not wirelessly) and use it as an external sound system for say watching movies or playing games? If so, how and what do you need? Below is a link to the post with images of the product.

The dock and the subwoofer each has a line level input on the back so you can easily connect your laptop headphone out to the either with a basic stereo audio cable with mini plugs on both ends.
