Connecting external monitor to laptop question!

Hey everyone I was wondering if I'm able to use an hdmi cable to connect my laptop to a external pc monitor using only an hdmi cable. Thank you!

You only need 1 cable for any monitor. Laptop or desktop or anything other device that accepts an external display is the same.

Of course.

If port on device A and port on device B are the same port (in this case HDMI), then you only ever need that kind of cable. (There are some offbeat situations where this not true but that is the 2% not the 98%).

As long as the laptop and monitor both have a HDMI port, then you can connect them with a HDMI cable.
