Connecting mic to portable speaker with preamp mixer

I am a beatboxer. I do beatbox. I am planning to buy a portable audio setup. I have boAt rugby Bluetooth speaker . I am planning to buy behringer xenyx302usb interface. I have a behringer xm8500 mic. So my question is : can I connect my mic to the interface then connect the interface to my Bluetooth speaker with an aux to aux cable? Will it work?

You should be able to connect the headset out of the interface to the input of the speaker.
You could also try connecting it to the headphone out of the laptop instead.
