Connecting my Panasonic SA-HT500 5.1 Home Theatre with my Panasonic Viera TX-P50X10Y

Hey guys.
I'm new to this field but my parents have a Panasonic home theatre SA-HT500 and I want to connect it with their Panasonic Viera so when we watch movies on the TV we can use all of the 5 speakers and sub woofer but I don't know what kind of cables I need and how to connect them. If it is possible at all to use the old home theatre system like this.

Best as I can tell the HTiB has an analog audio AUX input. Your TV probably only has optical digital audio output so you will need one of these:

as well as an cables to connect it.
