Connecting Sony Bravia 40Nx500 to Creek 5250SE integrated amp

I can't seem to find the right audio out connectors to hook up my TV (Sony Bravia KLV 40Nx500) sound to my integrated amp that has red/white audio AV jacks. I tried all of the combinations and set the TV to output through the audio sound system, but to no avail.

Using an adapter cable, you can connect the red/white RCA plugs to the 3.5mm headphone jack on the TV. That's what I did, since my new Sony TV has no RCA output jacks like my old TV had. Works a treat.

Get a good quality one, some really cheap ones can come apart in your hands

phillipcorcoran is mostly correct, but use a 3.5mm male to two RCA MALE connectors (not females)

Quite correct if connecting to RCA jacks, in my case I was connecting the adapter to RCA plugs so I needed the female type. Thanks for spotting that 😉
