Connecting Two Receivers

I have two receivers - a Yamaha RX V373 that I use to power my inside home theater system, and an old Sony STR K665p that I would like to connect to eh Yamaha system to power my outdoor speakers (so I can play the same music or movie inside and out). Is this possible? If so, please let me know how. I have connected the Audio out on the Yamaha to the DVD In and Video In (only choices) on the Sony, but that doesn't seem to connect them. Thanks,

If your sources are connected to the Yamaha with digital audio or HDMI then it may not output them through the analog audio outputs. Try adding an analog audio connection to one of the unused inputs and see if that works.
