Control keys and num lock not work

so they dont work I've tried like everything system restore,deleted keyboard and reinstalled. And got a tech to fix but he said he couldnt fix it and it was a software issue ;-;. My num lock use to have a led light on it but now it doesnt light up so I reinstalls the windows funtions key now it makes the sticky keys sound when I press num lock and I cant type numbers from the num lock. But I can type numbers from num lock when its restart and when I need to type the password in?

You might want to try connecting an external keyboard and see if you can use that or not.

If it works fine, then it is probably something with the physical attached keyboard, not software.
