What program was used for the data stored on the floppy (I assume that is what you are referring to)? That is what is needed to figure out how to access the data.

Windows PCs can read DOS formatted disks (FAT or FAT32) without any issues as long as the media is still good.

It was made by a friend in dos befor windows was out. I tryed te use it in dos on my computer but cant read it. I think it is bad. It is on a 3.5 disk

I would suspect that the floppy diskette (could also be the floppy disk drive) itself is defective then. Do you have any diskettes to test with?

What version of Windows are you running?
