Hi everyone, I'm looking for a new laptop to for work (I'm and information architect and designer) the main requirement is a 17.3 inch display with a 1600x900 (or better) resolution.

I've got it down to two models but looking at the figures from cpu benchmark neither of the configurations is a clear winner, any advice or alternatives appreciated budget is <1000 GBP:-

If the applications you use most often are multithreaded or you need Blu-Ray go for the 7738G, otherwise go for the 7741G. The 7741G will likely have better battery life.
