Could it be something on d remote

My 48 inch lg smart [TV] flickers the logo and the screen goes blank could it be something on the remote that's causing it [?]

Edit: The TV had sound and was working ok, now it has a blank screen.

If this is a new or recent purchase, it will be covered by the manufacturer's warranty so contact them for repair or replacement.

I doubt that the remote has anything to do with your problem. When you don't push a button on the remote it doesn't exist as far as the TV goes.
