CPU Maximum Frequency Drops

I have an ASUS X556U with Intel core i5-7200U 4GB RAM and a Geforce 940MX. I am using 64 bit windows 10. My CPU is experiencing frequency drops while gaming. I have checked the temperature it is about 55-65 70 may be max. The maximum frequency drops up to 7% and im experiencing fps drops while gaming. Can anyone help me what is the issue with my laptop. Thanks everyone

wait sorry for the late reply. Let me check that out. Do you think im overheating? i just bought this laptop last december 2016 but i use it alot i also have a cooling pad.

Here's the gpu usage and temps, i dont know how to look at it. i just played runescape and the cpu frequency still drops and fps drops.

i have also have a laptop with that, i get the problem also,
the cpu drops frequency to 13% and the intel graphics card gpu goes up
, when its goes back to normal the cpu goes up again and the gpu goes to 0% to 10% for intel only

i have a solution for that when i see the cpu goes 100% the problem show up so i set my maximum frequency to 90% to 99% in control panel > power options > change power options > set processor power management to 99%,

i hope some one solve this problem with out using this

i found the answer go to your asus drivers provider, install the outdated intel drives and nvidia drivers its work for me
