hi everyone, i'm new here and i got a question to ask, but no one i know competent enough to answer it

i have a Toshiba l650d notebook with AMD turion II P530 (2.30GHz), and it is pretty weak cpu, its bottlenecking my, otherwise, decent conf (ddr3 ram, ati 5650).
Im wondering could i upgrade my weak p530 with something like AMD Phenom II X2 N660, or AMD Phenom II X4 N950. Both (n660 and n950) have the same socket as my current cpu, and should (?) probably work fine in my notebook.
Oh, and i should mention that my turion is 25 watt, and those are 35 watt, but i dont think (again, ?) that it should be a problem.

Thank you in advance

I don't think it would be wise to open your laptop and switch the CPUs. I don't even know if that is possible! My guess is that they are encapsulated by something and glued on to the board. I wouldn't recommend it, but I can't be for sure either.

I opened laptops, including my own couple of times, it is possible to change CPU because they are not glued to the mainboard, they "lay" on their cpu socket.

but thank you for answer
