What is more important, CPU or GPU when trying to capture the screen? I have a 750 ti and can pretty much play anything on relatively high settings, but when I go to record it drops off completely? HELP!

Solution
its fm2. so that means the strongest you can upgrade to is the a10 6800k.

i mean it would be a substantial upgrade. but i would just recommend you get enough money so that you can get a new mobo and CPU.

these little parts here are MUCH more powerful than the APU itself and only a little bit more costlier

That's probably your CPU then, recording always taxes the CPU more than the GPU unless you have Shadowplay or an external capture card.

Well what would you suggest? Since it is an apu I would have to buy a new mobo and everything if I wanted to branch out of that series. Cause I believe it is an FM2 socket. If I upgraded to like an a10 would that be enough?
