creating a gaming laptop

my budget is around 500$,,,,and im an addict for gaming...i dont need to play them in ultra settings,,at least in normal setiings...so can you plz tell me some good configuration around that budget...and also tell me good graphic card of nvidia...
i can add 100 $ extra

500 bucks for a gaming laptop? I really doubt thats going to happen. You might be able to get an i5 + 620m for that price but thats really the limit.

FYI, there are no "graphics cards" for laptops. Laptops are very rarely upgradeable. The GPU is soldered into the motherboard.

Basically, you need to look for a laptop with the best GPU in your budget. It's going to be either an NVidia 600/700 series, or an AMD HD7000/8000 series.

AMD APU's are a chip with the CPU and GPU combined. An A8 or A10 APU might be your best choice.

As said, $500 is not a "gaming" laptop. Those generally start around $800.

There are plenty of great games, many older, that this machine can run. I don't recommend trying to run any modern, demanding games. Especially nothing like Far Cry 3.

Half Life 2 is an example of an older game that looks great and runs fine on lower-end machines.

*Don't forget you can use the HDMI output to attach laptops to HDTV's. With an XBOX 360 Controller and a game that uses a controller it's like having a game console.

A true gaming laptop is going to start at the $1500 price point and go up from there. For $500 to $600 you are going to get a laptop that might be able to play casual games but that is about it sorry. For a laptop with a dedicated mid to high end GPU you are looking to at least double that $500. When you look at the price of a dedicated GPU running $250 or more you are looking to add that or more onto the price of a laptop just to get something close to what a desktop can do.
