Creative A550 centre speaker acting as subwoofer

I recently bought a Creative A550 5.1 speaker system and connecting everything seemed fine, however when I turned my computer on and went to test the speakers, every speaker was fine except for the centre. The centre plays when I click the subwoofer and vice versa.

My sound card is a Creative Sound Blaster Z and I'm sure I have connected everything correctly.

I'm completely baffled, which is annoying because I recently successfully set up the same system with the same sound card on another computer so I'm not sure why this is happening.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Hey there,

In the creative menus someplace, there should be a selection that switches the sub and center channels around. Unfortunately creative doesn't post manuals so I can't actually look it up to make sure but it sounds like this is what you should look for.

Thanks for your reply, I can't seemed to find that option anywhere unfortunately which is worrying
