I wonder if they will cripple the PC version with draconian DRM, I sure hope not. They (Crytech) blamed the "evil" PC pirates for almost everything last time.

From what I heard, Crysis 2 on low settings looks just as good as the original did on High.

The consoles will likely be running low settings.

nice ! just beat Crysis warhead last night kinda short but pretty good graphics.

Hi-def PC gaming FTW

Hopefully this time it'll be a game full of amazing graphics AND decent gameplay. Crysis was one of the most boring FPS games I had played to date

crysis graphics were good, but when you compare it to something as simple as the source engine, is there really that much of an improvement? you can get over 100 fps in half-life 2. but for just a little more detail in crysis you get a measly 20 or so on a typical graphics card at 1080p with very high details.
that's a shoddy graphics engine

I think maybe a decade later, my new pc will finally be powerful and financially cheap enough to play the original Crysis or Crysis 2.

[citation][nom]pharge[/nom]Crysis 2 to Have 'Best Graphics You've Ever Seen'nice! But I hope I will not need the "best grapic card I can never aford to enjoy the beauty!....>_<heard its min. is more friendly.. but how about the requirement to see the max on 1900x1200? 5970 CF?...;P...[/citation]
I'd be disappointed if they was all.
3x GTX480x2 in SLI (we can hope for a GTX480x2, can't we? And sixway SLI right?) would only enable the 'Enthusiast' settings, not the 'You're a goddamned Nazi' uber high settings at 1280x1024. Don't even consider AA/AF yet.
If only. =D
Some of us want something that'll rape even the best in the market.

Crysis was actually pretty fun, but Crysis Warhead was boring. Far Cry 2 was as boring as balls. (Hey buddy, I got 10 fist-sized diamonds, what will that buy me? 5 more for a rusty old rifle, are you kidding me??)

I thought the developer of Crysis is in a foreign country, no? It just struck me to see that even for foreign developers, they would use cities from the US as the main setting of their games. It's just a bit weird. If I am a developer originates and works in Japan, I would use cities from Japan as my primary locales.

I doubt it's the best I've seen.. Gran Turismo 5 looks pretty awesome in graphics too.

Crysis 2 on xBox - nah, xBox got so fake ray(light) simulation (shadows are pre-made)
Crysis 2 on PS3 - maybe, but lacks tessellation.
Crysis 2 on Pc - sure!
