Ctrl Key is being pressed even with external Keboard

can anyone help me? the keyboard(external) works normally at first but after a few hours(sometimes minutes) of using it i noticed that the ctrl key is being held down but I'm not pressing it on my laptop or my external keyboard(which is new) and i cant even type....
I already tried the ff. methods but it did not help me

tried disabling stick keys
tried installing uninstalling keyboard devices
I'm already using external keyboard
formatting the laptop

physically no, I'm not that confident with opening laptops.
