CTRL + MMB No longer zooms when i scroll

Hi; just today i find i can no longer zoom in and out on webpage. For years i hold the ctrl key down and zoom in and out with the mmb scroll. Also i notice that my tab key no longer takes me to the next line; i suspect the two are related. New batts no help. anyone? thank you.

It sounds like the left column of keys on your keyboard isn't working.

Do you have another you can try?
