D: drive filled without being filled

When i check my D: drive by going in to properties i can see that 109GB of it is used but when i go and check the one and only folder i have there which is GTA V it only takes up 70,4 GB Why is this?

Have you tried checking to view all hidden files?
If the drive has had Windows installed on it, that will take more room.

You an use WinDirStat for detailed analysis, that will tell you exactly what is in there.
